PITSTOP Warranty Policy

At PITSTOP, we are committed to providing quality products and reliable after-sales support. Selected products sold by PITSTOP come with a 1-Year Limited Warranty, unless stated otherwise.

Warranty Period

  • Warranty is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase
  • Original purchase invoice is mandatory to claim warranty
  • Warranty applies only to products purchased from PITSTOP or its authorized sales channels

Warranty Coverage

This warranty typically covers manufacturing or factory defects that affect product functionality, including:

  • Products not functioning out of the box (DOA) such as non-working buttons, keys, scroll wheels, or audio issues
  • Faulty or internal component failures
  • Defects occurring under normal and intended use conditions
  • Manufacturing defects present at the time of purchase

What’s NOT Covered

The warranty does not cover damage caused by user action, misuse, external factors, or normal aging, including but not limited to:

Physical damage (drops, cracks, dents, broken parts)
Water or liquid damage, moisture exposure, or corrosion
❌ Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper handling
Unauthorized repair, modification, or tampering (hardware or software)
❌ Products with defaced, missing, or altered serial numbers
Consumables and normal wear and tear (e.g. cable fraying, ear cushions, mouse feet, key legends fading, switches over time)
❌ Wear of consumables beyond their expected lifetime
❌ Failure to follow user manuals, setup instructions, or safety guidelines
❌ Products used for commercial purposes, unless specified otherwise
Unsupervised use by minors under 18 years
❌ Damage caused by power surges, fire, weather conditions, or natural disasters
❌ Products not purchased from PITSTOP
Free or promotional accessories included with another product (unless explicitly mentioned)

Warranty Claim Process

To claim warranty service, customers must send or bring the product to the PITSTOP RMA Center or PITSTOP shop within the warranty period.

Required for Warranty Submission

  • Undamaged product (no physical or liquid damage)
  • Original purchase invoice
  • Product box with visible serial number

Processing Time

  • Delays may occur, especially if parts need to be imported
  • Warranty processing usually takes 10–15 working days
  • Time may vary based on product type, issue complexity, parts availability, or supplier response

Inspection & Delivery Terms

  • Customers are strongly encouraged to visit the shop or RMA center in person to inspect the product after service
  • If the customer chooses courier delivery, and the original issue is not resolved or reoccurs, responsibility will lie with the customer
  • If the product needs to be sent again, all courier and delivery charges will be borne by the customer

Repair, Replacement & Refund Policy

  • PITSTOP reserves the right to repair or replace the product at its discretion
  • If the exact model is unavailable, PITSTOP may replace it with an equivalent product of similar value and specifications, which may be from another brand available in PITSTOP’s stock
  • If a product is found to be beyond repair and no suitable replacement is available, a refund may be offered
  • Any refund will be calculated based on depreciation adjustment, considering product usage period

Important Notes

  • Warranty is applicable only to the original purchaser
  • Products that do not meet warranty conditions may be rejected
  • Warranty does not guarantee immediate replacement
  • PITSTOP reserves the right to accept or reject any warranty claim after inspection
